MISSION
The Palm Springs Chapter of Military Officers Association of America (PSC-MOAA) mission is based on the oath we took when we were commissioned:
To support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic. We pledge Allegiance to the United States of America.
The specific mission of the Palm Springs Chapter of MOAA- to protect the earned benefits of the members of the Military and the seven (7) uniformed services, their families and to advocate for a strong USA National Defense. We look after each other in PSC-MOAA. We care for all veterans and all ranks. PSC-MOAA supports all former, retired, reserve and future officers in our Zip Codes.
INFORMATION ON JOINING PSC-MOAA CA-28

All new MOAA Basic, Premium and Life Members earn one-year free membership ending 1 January of the next year when they join CA-28 Chapter President needs your MOAA numbers. If you do not belong to MOAA our membership team will help you enroll in MOAA and CA-28. We need your phone number, address, e-mail address, DOB and Rank while on active duty. We would like to see a copy of your DD-214 or Military I.D. Card. Surviving Spouses are welcomed to join CA-28 Spouses or Partners of Officers/Members are also welcomed. Both Surviving Spouses and wives of members can help grow CA-28 and have positions of responsibilities.
Former military and outstanding civilians can attend CA-28 events as honorary members. We appreciate donations to our growing chapter.
PSC-MOAA CHAPTER ACTIVITIES
We put major emphasis on JROTC, Desert Hot Springs High School, Marine JROTC, La Quinta High School, Air Force JROTC, Cathedral City High School and Air Force JROTC.
We participate in the Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade and at Christmas we collect toys for children for Marines and Sailors stationed at Twenty-Nine Palms Marine Base, PSC-MOAA Scholarship Fund we award four $2,500 Scholarships to the top JTOTC Cadet from the above High Schools
The Palm Springs Chapter, Military Officers Association of America (PSC_MOAA) is a non-profit organization with National Headquarters in Alexandria, Virginia. It is operated exclusively for purposes beneficial to the interests of the nation and its Uniformed Services personnel, their family members, and survivors. While fully subscribing to the underlying values contained therein, PSC-MOAA is formed to:
- To inculcate and stimulate love of country and the flag;
- To support the honor and integrity of our country and advocate for a strong national defense;
- To advocate military forces adequate to the defense of our country;
- To foster the integrity and prestige of uniformed service;
- To foster fraternal relations between all branches of the various Services from which our members are drawn;
- To further the education of children of Service personnel;
- To aid personnel of the Services from which our members are drawn, and their family members and survivors, in every proper and legitimate manner, and
LEGISLATIVE ISSUES OF PSC-MOAA
PSC-MOAA does not support USA partisan politics, however, we appreciate elected officials who support American Veterans. PSC-MOAA participates and support National MOAA Storming the Hill every spring in Washington, D.C. We participate and support CAL-MOAA storming Sacramento, Reeb and Associates are our Lobbying Group for Veterans Affairs. PSC-MOAA is the number one legislative goal in California. California should remove the State Income Tax on Military Retirees Pay.

PSC-MOAA is the only Officer’s (exclusive) military/veteran’s Association in the Following Coachella Velley locations:
Palm Springs, Indio, Coachella, Desert Hot Springs, La Quinta, Indian Wells, Cathedral City, Palm Desert. We are an equal opportunity nonprofit 501 19(c) organization.
PSC-MOAA dues are expected on January 1 of the following year. Commissioned Officers $25.00 per year. Surviving Spouse $10.00 per year.
